Notably, Mr. Szandzik played a pivotal role in clinical documentation and revenue optimization at R1 RCM, contributing to its IPO in 2010 and achieving a $1.2 billion market capitalization. Prior to his tenure at R1 RCM, Mr. Szandzik served as a consultant at the Chartis Group, enhancing alignment between faculty practice plans and academic medical centers. He also held leadership positions at University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
